Is there alien life on Hycean planets?

A class of extraterrestrial worlds known as "Hycean" planets, which can be up to 2.5 times larger than Earth and have vast oceans of liquid water beneath atmospheres rich in hydrogen, is one that the researchers have identified in the latest study. The study team noted that hycean planets seem to be extremely common in the Milky Way galaxy and that they might be home to microscopic life akin to the "extremophiles" that survive in some of the most hostile settings on Earth
