Homemade Alfredo Sauce Recipe

My husband's father brought this recipe back from Italy when he was there in the late 1970s. He saw the locals making it there for very cheap using local ingredients. But, do not count your calories using this rich tasting & delicious recipe. There is a reason my family calls this sauce "lard sauce." Enjoy this meal a few times a year. I do not recommend saving any leftovers. This sauce is hard to reheat. It is possible using a microwave, but it's best served & eaten fresh. I recorded my husband making this recipe, those are NOT my hands. 🤣
