Day 112 of Sobriety: Ren - Love Music Part 1&2 | Embracing Life Lessons & Stillness @RenMakesMusic

Today on Day 112 of my sobriety journey, I listened to Ren's "Love Music Part 1 and 2." Before diving into the music, I talked about how advice and lessons from 10, 15, and even 20 years ago are finally starting to sink in. Back then, I was either too young or too egoistic to truly understand them. The struggles I'm facing now are pure teaching moments, valuable life lessons that I need for the future. It's fascinating how much life is about our reactions rather than the events themselves. It's our reactions that make the difference.

There is a lesson in every moment if I'm open to seeing it. Of course, I could ignore it all, but for some reason, I'm ready to receive and learn. Stillness, which I once thought was just a hippie saying, seems to be the key to learning and observing. There's a beautiful thing in this stillness, and it offers a lot. It offers me a choice I didn't have before—the choice of how I want to react. It's truly amazing!

Ren's music is pure magic. Honestly, I don't know any other artist with such a range of artistry and the ability to create so many different styles of music. It's pure healing for a music lover like me. These two parts were a gift, a reward for holding on and learning from my struggles. Life is good, and life is about how I choose to react!
