Just Going For A Walk In The Russian City Of Samara

Something eerie is happening in the Russian city of Samara. it is taken over by strange creatures, monsters even! Some are the size of a human being, but can easily jump through a window and safely climb down a fully vertical wall without batting an eyelash. Others are squid-looking beings seen moving in the mist-filled dusk, groping the highest roof buildings with their long sticky tentacles. And there is not even a bit of info about it in the media, or online!

Worry not my friends, what you just saw in the video above is the product of the brilliant mind and the creative outburst of the Russian video designer from Samara, Dmitry Kataev. It swiped the internet causing a great controversy and provoking discussion. At the moment, his creation has collected more than 2 million views and, judging by the activity, it has a chance spiral internationally!

According to Dmitry, the idea to shoot the video came completely spontaneously.

Once, he woke pretty early and went to the window overlooking the yard. It was complete silence. No one around. And then he thought: now is the time to get out to some monster, while nobody sees it. And then the thought dawned on him: why not make such a monster
himself? He has been doing computer graphics for about 15 years, and he decided to try to make such an animation.

The monster crawling down the wall in the video above is based on a Samaran urban legend – “stickman” who can crawl unnoticed on the walls, and this behavior can cause real horror. His idea was not to frighten someone. He only wanted to make a top-quality animation, but it turned out to be a real hit that promotes itself online.
