George R.R. Martin NUKES Adaptions! 999 Times Out of 1000 It's WORSE!

George R.R. Martin found time enough to opine about untalented screenwriters butchering classic works, but not enough time to finish Winds of Winter. It's fine, if you don't finish the book, they can't adapt it!

Martin is correct in his assessment that most of the adaptations being churned out in Hollywood are trash and below the quality of the source material. "999 times out of 1,000 they are worse than the original," is the quote from the blog. He blames transforming the source into something different, something that the source never was to begin with.

It's just funny how you can say something like that when your work is on both sides of this opinion. We know how Game of Thrones wound up and House of the Dragon is turning Fire and Blood into something greater than the original ever was; and George agrees!
