The Who - "Mary-Anne with the Shaky Hands" (Original Version)

In the United States, this track appeared as the B-side of The Who's "I Can See for Miles" single (Decca, 1967). I've never cared for the album version on THE WHO SELL OUT, but this one is indisputably brilliant. (It's the original mono mix, sourced from the master tape.) Written by Pete Townshend; produced by Kit Lambert.

Roger Daltrey - lead vocal / Pete Townshend - guitar & backing vocal / John Entwistle - bass / Keith Moon - drums

Someone played ethereally beautiful organ lines throughout the song, but I've scoured the Internet and still can't find complete personnel credits. (A real shame, since the organ adds the final touch of perfection to this track.) I assume that Moon was playing the finger cymbals, but can't confirm it.
