Arrow Class: Genesis 42:18-19

The ten brothers were in jail for 3 days and on the third day Joseph came to talk to them! He told them that one brother could stay in jail while the others went home to take grain back to feed their families! Today let’s read Genesis 42:18-19 then 42:2. Then ask your Tiny Arrows why the brothers went to Egypt in the first place. To get grain! Then ask them if their families were hungry! Yes! They even needed it to live!

On the third day, Joseph said to them, “Do this and you will live, for I fear God: If you are honest men, let one of your brothers stay here in prison, while the rest of you go and take grain back for your starving households.”
Genesis 42:18-19

He continued, “I have heard that there is grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy some for us, so that we may live and not die.”
Genesis 42:2
