When we hear the word purge, it brings to mind a thorough cleaning, getting rid of stuff, and thinning down possessions Another direction taken when hearing that word brings thoughts of those who have suffered emotionally and have led to an eating disorder… HOWEVER, Heb 9:14, which is one of our readings this coming Sunday, brings a very intriguing way to see one of the benefits of the blood of Jesus; that being our “...conscience is purged from dead works”!
