Colossians 3:12-13 New King James Version
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS!!!
You know guys, this morning’s scripture was a bit triggering for me, because I have not just read this passage before, but I have heard this passage taught and preached in ways that aren't very biblical. You see, I’ve heard Ephesians 4:32, as well as other passages of scripture on forgiveness, being taught in a way that manipulates, coerces, gaslights, and forces people into a type of forgiveness that I don't believe is biblical and that is forgiveness based on denial. But how do we show kindness to someone who's been very unkind, donnas a great deal of wrong, while still maintaining our boundaries?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will help you to see what it means to be kind, without being a door mat. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and see just what I mean! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will help you know what it means to be kind to others, and how to do so with boundaries.

Where have you recently failed to be kind?

What’s one way you can succeed in kindness today?

Tonight, I pray, that if There is any area or anyone in your life, where you failed to show true kindness to, that you will ask God to not only forgive you of having failed to show that kindness but ask Him to show you ways in which you could show it, while still holding to your boundaries. You can choose to show kindness, and mercy, while also seeking justice against the person who has wronged you, so don't be afraid to do that. I especially pray for those who have been the victims of toxic people, especially spouses and family members, that you will be able to thrive and be the person that God intended you to be. Ask God to help you remember the kindness He’s shown to you, so that you could be kind to others.

UNTIL THURSDAY:

HAVE A BEAUTIFUL AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
