It's been a long day for the 18 jurors at Donald Trump'strail in New York, who could be held back a further fourhours to listen to closing arguments from the prosecution.

Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass said his flawed starwitness is a "tour quide" to evidence, and that itdoesn't matter if jurors "want to go into business with Michael Cohen".

Trump's defence team presented their final argumentearlier in the day, giving 10 reasons why they shouldnot convict him and calling Mr Cohen "the MVP of liars".

After closing arguments, Justice Juan Merchan willgive final instructions to the jury, and then they will begin deliberations.

Only a unanimous verdict can convict Trump - who isaccused of trying to cover up a $130,000 hush-moneypayment to porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims they had sex.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifyingbusiness records, and denies any sexual encounter with her.
