Ford Airport to Build New Traffic Control Tower, Among Other Renovations

The airport's priority is to rebuild and relocate the air traffic control tower, which is over 60 years old, according to WoodTV. Moving the tower to a different location would also allow for a new parking garage to be built, to accommodate the influx of passengers. The renovations come with a hefty price tag, though: they are estimated to total $600 million all together.
