Simple Cabbage Pie | Secret Ingredient | Light Dinner Recipe

This simple, super easy and delicious cabbage pie is perfect both for light dinner or lunch.

🥘Ingredients
For dough:
eggs - 2
butter - 120 g
sour cream - 135 g
flour - 350 g
salt - 8 g
sugar - 6 g
baking powder - 10 g
1 egg for brushing
sesame seeds - 1 tsp

For filling:
cabbage - 800 g
1 large onion
carrot - 100 g
garlic - 2 cloves
salt - to taste
black pepper - 1/3 tsp
paprika - 1/3 tsp
thyme - 1/3 tsp
coriander - 1/3 tsp
celery - 1/4 tsp
walnuts - 1 tbsp
parsley+dill - 3 tbsp
butter - 20 g
vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp

📝Instructions:
In a bowl mix together softened butter, eggs,sour cream, salt and sugar. You can use whisk or mixer
Add dry ingredients: sifted flour and baking powder
Make dough, cover it with cling film and place in a fridge for about 30 minutes
Meanwhile make the filling:
Saute chopped onion for a few minutes
Add a small piece of butter
Add grated carrot and saute for another few minutes
Add shredded cabbage, mix well, close the pan and saute for about 10 minutes
Add salt, black pepper and other spices, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes
In the end add garlic and herbs
Remove from the heat and set aside to cool down
Divide the dough into to parts - ⅔ and ⅓
Roll out the greater part of the dough and place it in the pan
Spread the filling
Roll out the smaller part of the dough and place it on the filling
Join the edges of two pieces of dough and make the hole in the middle
Brush the dough with egg
Sprinkle with sesame seeds
Bake at 180°C for 50 minutes (depending on your oven)
Butter the baked pie before serving.
