At least 21 people, including children, have died after severe weather and tornadoes struck Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kentucky since Saturday night.

In Valley View, Texas, Sheriff Ray Sappington reported that two children, ages 2 and 5, were among those killed in rural Cooke County, where homes were destroyed.

Three family members were found dead in one home, and search efforts continue for missing children.

The storm caused significant damage in Texas, with injuries reported at the AP Travel Center near Valley View and further destruction in Sanger.

Emergency personnel responded to multiple locations, including a marina in Denton, Accuweather reported.
