The cosmos is a vast and enigmatic expanse, composed of visible and invisible entities that shape its very structure and dynamics. Two of the most perplexing components of the universe are dark matter and dark energy, which together account for about 95% of its total mass-energy content. Dark matter, constituting roughly 27%, exerts gravitational forces but remains undetectable through light. Dark energy, comprising approximately 68%, drives the accelerated expansion of the universe. The remaining 5% is ordinary matter, the stuff of stars, planets, and life as we know it. This essay explores the hypothesis: what if consciousness is what we call matter, dark matter, and dark energy? Furthermore, we will integrate the teachings of nonduality to support the notion that consciousness, matter, and manifestation are all aspects of one indivisible reality, where the perceived separation is illusory.
