Israel Bombs Tent Camp in Rafah Burning People Alive

Israeli air strikes on a tent camp housing displaced Palestinians in Rafah killed around 100 people on Sunday. Many of the victims were reported to be women and children.

The bombing in the Tal as-Sultan area came after Israeli forces struck several other shelters for those displaced by the conflict in Jabalia, Nuseirat, and Gaza City. Palestinian officials said at least 160 more Palestinians died in those attacks.

An Israeli military spokesman confirmed the Rafah strike targeted Hamas fighters, saying "precision weaponry" was used. However, the spokesman acknowledged civilians were wounded when a fire broke out and said the incident is under investigation
