Blockoli is a member of the Reinforce-Mint family.
Blockoli costs 150 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 2, 5 and 10.)
Blockoli has 6,000 hit points. (+1,000 per level. An additional 500 at levels 9 and 10.)
Blockoli swings his florets dealing 95 damage. (+10 damage per level. +10 additional damage from level 4, +10 additional damage from level 7. +30 additional damage at level 10.)
When Blockoli attacks, zombies will be stunned for 3 seconds. (+1 second at levels 2, 4, 7 and 10.)
Blockoli is immune to the special abilities of the Fisherman Zombie and Excavator Zombie.
When given plant food, Blockoli will do 285 damage and stun all zombies in a 3x3 area.
This effect also happens every time Reinforce-Mint is planted.

Commentary:
One of the early strategies that players quickly learn is a short range/melee plant behind some sort of nut: Bonk Choy + Wall-nut or Snapdragon + Tall-Nut for instance. Blockoli is definitely worth considering. It has lots of hit points and the ability to stun zombies for a decent length of time allows for more Sun-intensive plants like Banana Launcher or Winter-melon.

The immunity to the Fisherman zombie's pull effect makes Big Wave Beach much easier. Ignoring Excavator zombie's shovel makes Blockoli much more desirable.

Being a Reinforce-mint plant, whenever this mint is planted, its plant food effect would be triggered. While Blockoli would gain additional armor, the knockback effect of Reinforce-mint means Blockoli's floret attack would most likely be wasted.

Bottom Line:
While Blockoli is at its core a defensive plant, it has enough desirability to make it a solid addition in certain circumstances. It is definitely worth obtaining and upgrading.
