Russians celebrate the crash of an Iranian-made Qods Mohajer-6 reconnaissance and strike UAV in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The enemy uses these in the war against Ukraine. The ER-858 UAV tail number is applied to export versions. The drone is armed with air-to-ground missiles.

The Russians, of course, are rejoicing, thinking that they shot down that same Turkish Bayraktar.

The Mohajer-6 is an Iranian single-engine multirole ISTAR UAV capable of carrying a multispectral surveillance payload and/or up to four precision-guided munitions. The Mohajer-6 was unveiled in April 2016 and entered mass production in February 2018.

The drone is armed with Iranian Ghaem-5 aerial bombs.

The same type of drone was neutralized over the Black Sea in September 2022 by Ukraine
