Ultra-Orthodox Jews clash with Israeli police ahead of Lag BaOmer festivities

Violence broke out before this year’s Lag BaOmer holiday festivities at Mount Meron in Israel as ultra-Orthodox Jews clashed with police. The Israeli police closed the Jewish pilgrimage site over concerns that the area could be targeted by Hezbollah.
