The Tick The Metal Box playset

Today we open The Metal Box from the first episode of The Tick cartoon. This is a great little playset straight out of the show. There were no instructions or paperwork inside the box. Though this appeared sealed I suspect it may have been resealed. The box does show other figures and how to operate the device though so it could be they just did not need to include any paperwork. I do not have a Tick figure to put in it. Any 4-6 six inch figure will likely fit in the device. There are a lot of little details to this set. To open the set you pull up on the cylinder at the top. Ideally everything should then pop loose. This one needed a little help but once deployed it looks great. There are lots of little arms with various weapons and garden utensils attached. Speakers on the left and right side for some reason. Swing up panels covered in spikes and finally a missile that can be deployed by pressing the light on the top of the release cylinder. On the back of the device there is a lever you can use to move the orange chair inside from side to side. This is a great little playset. It reminds me of something playmates might have made for the 80s Turtles line. I hope you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching. Take it easy.
