NECA Reel Toys NES RoboCop Unboxing

Today we open a NES RoboCop. This is a nice detailed figure. The articulation is not bad for a stiff armored robot. Initially I could not see or tell there was a wrist cut. Well maybe it would be considered a glove cut since it is a bit higher on his arm. It took some force to free it too. The holster in his hip is spring loaded. Though I did help it close by moving both parts in to place in this video I found later, pushing the front part back that the side piece swung in to place on its own. Pushing the clip on the back of his leg releases the spring loaded holster open. Whoever worked out that mechanism is a master in their craft. The gun fits in side though it is a small area to work it in to. The gun looks great in profile but head on it is very thin. Maybe they just needed to make it thin for the holster but a second thicker gun would have been nice. I picked this NES color RoboCop several years ago. I would have preferred the normal color but I expect the ebay price prohibited me from purchasing it at the time. I am still very happy with the figure. I hope you enjoyed the video.
