It is the moment of purity above these blind instincts, when he is steadfast in the face of death, and rises above the mortal desires of life. At that time, the great human being to whom the military salute is raised is realized.
The heroic martyr, Captain Ahmed Bakat Al-Shabki
An eternal example of love for the homeland. When the battles were raging and no sound rose above the whirring of bullets, Ahmed was the source of motivation and raising the morale of the fighters to rise up for the homeland and defeat those who wanted to harm its land. And in the battles to liberate Baiji, and when it was difficult to maintain communication with the front-line fighters, Ahmed Al-Shabki was the one who took care of it. With the command, he fought and maneuvered until he found a loophole to reach them and provide them with equipment and livelihoods to maintain the momentum of the battles at that time. Ahmed was skilled in penetrating ISIS terrorist fortifications in the Al-Mazraa and Al-Maliha area, passing through Baiji, its market, and its center, which was a miniature image of Hell, in which Ahmed used to write epics there. He was very merciful, of high character, and generous, and his smile never left him under all circumstances.
Ahmed and his family were forcibly displaced from the Nineveh Plain by terrorist gangs, and he suffered the pain of displacement, displacement, and being away from the land.
He often told his colleagues about his dreams. He said, “I hope to be the first to enter to liberate my city in the Nineveh Plain, or to be martyred on its land.”
He fought the battles valiantly and was wounded for the first, second, and third time. On June 30, 2015, he suffered his final injury, which sent him a martyr.
Our martyrs are our pride. They are those who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland, religion and freedom.

Martyrs are pure souls who ascended to heaven, and their names are immortalized in history.
