However, both the laptop and the diary have now been confirmed as real. Ashley Biden herself has verified the authenticity of the diary in a court document made public last month.

The contents of Ashley's diary raise serious concerns and demand scrutiny. In a July 2019 entry, she wrote, "Hyper-sexualized @ a young age. What is this due to? Was I molested. I think so —"

Yet, the majority of the media, which has not hesitated to label Donald Trump with various severe accusations, has largely ignored similar allegations against Joe Biden. This discrepancy in coverage is striking.

Last month, the New York Times reported that the woman who stole Ashley’s diary was sentenced to prison. However, the Times did not delve into the diary's actual contents. There was no mention of the alarming entries. Instead, the focus was on the "brazen scheme to steal the diary of President Biden’s daughter and sell it to a right-wing group in the hope of disrupting the 2020 election."

Within this coverage, a letter from Ashley was linked, in which she has never denied the diary’s authenticity, unlike the initial reactions to Hunter's laptop.
