The Search for Truth (1962)

A strongly anti-evolution and anti-secular humanist documentary featuring re-enactments of and interviews with scientists and church leaders regarding the ultimate harmony of religion and science. Features interviews with Wernher Von Braun, Harvey Fletcher, Henry Eyring, and Armin J. Hill.

The film was edited for later release in 1986, removing such elements as the opening prologue with President McKay and the discussion of the celestialization of the earth, the segment with the aunt who is concerned about her college-bound nephew, many of the given examples of theistic (or, in the case of most of them, which is possibly why their mention was cut, deistic) scientists throughout the film, and the ending discussion of prophets. The emphasis of the later cut seems to be to avoid discussing the conflict of science and religion as much as possible as well as slightly softening the film's anti-evolutionary perspective.
