Thousands have marched in Iran for the final day offuneral rites for President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash.

Raisi, 63, died alongside his foreign minister and sixothers when their helicopter crashed in the country'smountainous northwest while returning from a dam inauguration.

Raisi's coffin was flown to Mashhad in northeast Iranafter a funeral procession was held for him in the eastern city of Birjand.

Despite huge crowds, not all Iranians supported thepresident and many celebrated his death on social media.
