My bike is broken

The steel rim of the wheel burst. This wheel has been in use for 7 years. During this time, the brake pads suffered a lot of wear on the rim. The rim became thin and burst when hitting a hole or curb. This wheel is dangerous to ride on. But I will have to do this for a few more days before I give the bike in for a tire replacement. It will cost about $30. Wheel diameter 29 inches. This is the largest bicycle wheel.
