Parties: What to Expect
Performance Athletics Gymnastics parties are STELLAR! Here’s what to expect:
Confirming Details: Once you make your reservation, our Party Coordinator will be in touch to check on details like how many guests are invited, what color tablecloths/ plates/ napkins you want, if you plan to open gifts here or at home, and tips for what kids should wear. Any add-ons like additional time or photo packages need to be reserved at the time the party is booked.
Tell us: Please be proactive in communicating your needs ahead of time so we can schedule your activities within the time you have reserved. Extra time in the big gym, opening gifts, pinatas, silks, etc. are easy to accommodate but may require adjusting the length of time we usually allot for other activities, or may require purchasing the extended party package to fit everything in. Special requests are subject to availability, so the sooner we know the better we can accommodate you.
At the gym, we do everything from set-up to clean-up so you can bask in the glow of your little Star’s smile!
Set-up & decor: We’ll start setting up your refreshments area and an amazing obstacle course before you even arrive! We provide basic decor in the color of your choice for tablecloths, plates, napkins, and table toppers. If you have a special theme in mind, you’re welcome to supply custom decorations ahead of time for us to put up. Please keep in mind we are a latex-free facility.
Host Arrival: When you arrive, we’ll help you unload your car and set up refreshments. To be as ready as possible for your excited kiddos, we ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes before your party’s start time.
Guest arrival: Please ask your guests to arrive at your scheduled start time, and have everyone check in at the Office for a quick waiver and name tag before they go play. Children 3yrs and under will need a grown-up helper to assist them. We ask hosting families to remind guests to attend only if healthy.
Getting Ready: Before we start, kids will wash their hands and make sure their attire is ready for action! We ask hosting families to remind their guests to wear movement-friendly clothes with no buttons, snaps, or zippers. Kids will be barefoot in the gym.
1st activity (Rec Room): We start by getting the wiggles out in our Rec Room! We play Birthday-themed games for the older parties, and allow open play on our Preschool equipment for younger groups. This gives us a chance to get to know the kids, celebrate the Birthday Child, and let late-comers join the group without missing any big gym fun!
Photo Op: When we head out to the big gym, we’ll sit down for a photo op so grown-ups can snap a shot of everyone’s smiling faces before we go over how to be safe on our amazing obstacle course on the main floor.
2nd activity (Obstacle course): Our obstacle courses are STELLAR! We design them to be age-appropriate for the Birthday Child, and make sure we have a wide variety of obstacles to keep everyone active and smiling. Our coaches supervise for safety, and cheer the kids on as they bounce, scramble, crawl, and balance with mats, tunnels, springboards, and more.
3rd activity (Trampoline & Pit): After the obstacle course, we move on to our Trampoline and foam pit area. We always talk about how to be safe before letting your child play. Simple things like taking turns, watching out for friends, and where to wait for your turn can keep kids cruising instead of bruising. We know they're excited, so coaches are always there to help things run safely & smoothly.
Refreshments: Bouncing on a full stomach can be uncomfortable, so refreshments are served after big gym time. We’ll have the food & drink you provided set up in our lobby, ready for your guests to self-serve, or we can help serve them- it’s up to you! We love seeing the amazing goodies our families bring. To protect little bare feet, we ask that containers not be glass; for the safety of all our guests, we do not allow alcohol or smoking. Due to common allergies, we ask that refreshments be nut-free.
Party Perks:
In addition to our set-up and clean-up service, if you choose to open gifts here, we’ll help you complete a gift list! Otherwise, we include one for you to use at home. Guests can sign a tee shirt for the Birthday Child to wear, and each guest gets a coupon card to come back for more gymnastics adventures!
Clean-up: Once your scheduled party time has finished, we will happily help you load your car. Don’t worry about cleanup- that’s all part of the service. You pack what you want to keep, and we take care of everything else so you can enjoy the rest of the day with your child.
