Since Mica Miller took her own life earlier this month, her estranged husband John-Paul Miller has been in the spotlight. Mica’s family accuses the pastor of abusing and harassing Mica prior to her death. The couple was going through divorce proceedings just before the 30-year-old’s death. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber spoke with Mica’s best friend Charlotte Korn, as well as her family law attorney Regina Ward, about newly revealed text messages and accusations against John-Paul.

Florida police received a call regarding a hit-and-run crash, then another call from a Walmart reporting a shoplifter. Police later realized that both incidents involved the same alleged suspect, 46-year-old Ledrianne Emley. Emley claimed she was out Christmas shopping and had been drinking, police say. Emley was arrested for shoplifting and driving under the influence.

Bodycam footage shows the tense moments surrounding an altercation between two angry Burger King customers and the workers who served their food. Sheree Ross and Tavarus D. Ross are accused of trashing the fast food restaurant and challenging employees to a fight over their wait time. The situation escalated when Sheree became unhappy with the amount of chicken nuggets in her order. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks down the hunger-fueled incident.
