Electric vehicles are often touted as environmentally friendly, but there's a critical question that needs to be addressed: how is the electricity to power them produced? The reality is that much of our electricity still comes from nuclear plants and fossil fuels. This reliance on non-renewable energy sources undermines the green credentials of EVs. Moreover, current green energy sources are not yet capable of generating enough electricity to support a widespread switch to electric vehicles. This raises serious concerns about the overall sustainability and environmental impact of the EV industry.

The cost and environmental impact of recycling batteries will be significant challenges. Producing electric vehicles may not offer any clear environmental or economic advantages.
