Early voting turnout way up in Marion County for 2018

It's early, but more people are voting in this year's midterm primary elections than in previous years. The Marion County Clerk's Office released the early voting statistics, and how they compare to the last two midterm elections. Through Friday (halfway through early voting) 1,050 votes have been cast, so Marion County is on pace for 2,100 votes. That would be much higher than the early primary voters for 2014 or 2010. The numbers still pale in comparison to the voting for the 2014 general election, which had 4,216 early votes cast.
