Today we're going to try and use the good ol' W.W.Web to do some of own research, looking into the specifics of a racially charged news story from 2022. We could just be lazy, and ask the AI to rehash what CNN told us, but we're gonna live dangerously, and do it ourselves. To ensure we are accurate, and don't fall victim to any misinformation, we will require original sources...

Blocking us from finding the sources is for our safety & wellbeing - you see, you and I are just not capable of deciding what we want to watch, incase something might offend us. To put things into context, youtube claims over 9m videos were deleted in the last 3 months of 2023 alone!

Legitimate research into "real world issues" has become increasingly difficulty. But it's still possible - if you endavour, and know where to look.

The year 2015 was my favourite year as far as the internet went. It had gotten fast enough that we could stream live video in HD, but it was still fresh enough that censorship was (almost) unheard of. Late 2016 this golden era came to an end, after Donald Trump became president. It was carried out under the guise of "Russian bots spreading fake news". It's worth noting that during the time all this censorship was rolled out, Trump controlled the Executive branch, and the legislative branch, with majorities in both the Senate and the House...

A year after censorship began in earnest, late 2017 ostensibly saw Sandy hook parents begin legal action against Alex Jones, who reportedly had to "pay out $1bn for three defamation lawsuits" in 2023. While Alex Jones was the first "conspiracy theorist" to be taken down, and very publically, the rest followed at an exponential rate. Like previously mentioned, Youtube has deleted over 9 million videos for the last 3 months of 2023 (the latest period for which figures are available).

It is my opinion, that the truth is not only censored, but also buried in-between a lot of lies and deception, making it increasingly difficult to find. If someone is really good at telling you truth and builds up a following, that person is probably censored to ensure nobody new can find him/hear. If however, they are full of rubbish, they will probably be allowed to continue, and may even be promoted. This is before we even discuss to paid shills and controlled opposition.
