Video of a 12 string guitar that i recently bought from a guy on craigslist.

The bridge is lifted up

and wood on the front of the body is badly warped.

Im not sure how to proceed with the repair,

So for now i just loosened all of the strings until they are limp.

I want to preserve these strings if i can, at least thru the repairs jobs, and set up.

What i will probably do is keep these strings under control with something like a capo clamped down to hold strings in place.

At end of set-up, ill probbaly change strings, if old ones are worn out, or deformed, discolored, etc

But what i dont want to do is put on a brand new set of strings, and then try to set-up the guitar, because there would or could be lots of string deformation at places like bridge and nut, but also if you deformed string when you pull on it during installation.
