Iran helicopter accident: Fars News Agency calls on Iranians to pray for President Raisi
Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi is still missing after a helicopter he was travelling on was involved in an accident in a mountainous area of the country’s East Azerbaijan province.
Adverse weather conditions, including heavy fog, are hampering rescue efforts and the helicopter is still missing.
If the helicopter is “missing” it most likely means it’s destroyed in pieces.
3 helicopters but just the one with the president and diplomats crashed? This sounds strange…
What does worry me is why everyone is reporting the story as though the president and everyone aboard are already dead? If its genuinely unconfirmed, they should report carefully so as not to preempt distress.
