GEZ - Gebührenhorror

Ich glaube soviel brauchen wir über diese Beitragsservice und seine Machenschaften gar nicht mehr zu sagen.
Trotzdem werde auch ich immer noch über die Dreistigkeit dieser Einrichtung überrascht. Was ist geschehen?

Im Prinzip weiß ja keiner so genau: Ist das jetzt eine Behörde oder ein privatrechtliches Unternehmen.
Die Wahrheit liegt wohl irgendwo dazwischen - wir haben darüber schon geschrieben.
Fakt ist - seit der Umwandlung der GEZ in den Rundfunkbeitragsservice kann dieser Einrichtung keiner mehr entkommen: Es ist ein Beitrag, den JEDER zu zahlen hat! - ob er jetzt einen Fernseher hat oder nicht - egal!

Was aber passiert, wenn Du bisher allein gewohnt hast und jetzt zu Deinem Partner ziehen möchtest?
Die GEZ erfährt natürlich vom Meldeamt Deinen Umzug.
Denkst Du, daß damit denn alles erledigt ist?

Susanne war neulich beim Friseur und fiel vom Glauben ab, als ihre Friseurin ihr die folgende Geschichte erzählte:

Auch sie zieht zu ihrem Partner. Bisher zahlten beide jeweils eine Gebühr. Eine GEZ-Gebühr ist zukünftig also überflüssig - sie wohnen ja jetzt in einer Wohnung statt in zweien!
Es gibt auch ein Online-Formular, welches man ausfüllen kann und jede Menge Tipps wie und in welchen „Ausnahme“-Fällen man sich abmelden kann.
Ich habe es ausprobiert - es wird einem echt schwer gemacht!
Natürlich geht nichts ohne Nachweise.
Was es aber nirgendwo gibt: Zahlt man etwas für eine Abmeldung?
JA!
Das kommt aber erst ganz am Schluß des Abmeldeformulars, quasi als P.S. Wenn Du alles andere bereits ausgefüllt hast und jetzt auf „Absenden“ drücken möchtest, dann erscheint es: Höhe € 29,00!!

In diesem Land ziehst Du in Deine erste Wohnung, oder Du ziehst um - die GEZ wird automatisch darüber benachrichtigt (Datenschutz gilt nur für andere!), und Du wirst dazu gezwungen, Deinen Beitrag zu zahlen - und dann mußt dafür zahlen, wenn Du einen offiziellen Grund hast, Dich abzumelden?! Es erinnert ein bisschen an die Justiz: Schuldig bis zum Beweis der Unterschuld.
(Genau so wie Du als Selbstständiger automatisch Deinen Beitrag zur Handelskammer zahlen mußt - niemand fragt Dich!!)

I don’t think we need to say that much about this contribution service and its machinations.
Nevertheless, I am still surprised by the audacity of this institution, what happened?

In principle, no one knows exactly: Is this now an authority or a private company.
The truth is probably somewhere in between - we have already written about it.
The fact is - since the conversion of the GEZ into the broadcasting fee service, no one can escape this institution: It is a contribution that EVERYONE has to pay! - whether he has a TV or not - no matter!

But what happens if you have lived alone so far and now want to move to your partner?
The GEZ will of course find out about your move from the registration office.
Do you think everything is done with that?
By no means!
Susanne was recently at the hairdresser’s and fell away from her faith when her hairdresser told her the following story:

She too moved to her partner, who had previously paid a fee each. A GEZ fee is therefore superfluous in the future - they now live in one apartment instead of two!
There is also an online form that you can fill out and a lot of tips on how and in which exceptions you can unsubscribe.
I tried it - it’s really hard!
Of course, nothing works without proof.
But what there is nowhere: Do you pay something for a deregistration?
YES!
But this only comes at the very end of the unsubscribe form, quasi as PS If you have already filled in everything else and now want to press "Submit", then it appears: Amount € 29.00!!

In this country, you move into your first home, or you move - the GEZ is automatically notified (data protection applies only to others!), and you are forced to pay your contribution - and then you have to pay for it if you have an official reason, Want to unsubscribe?
