Horse Bucks Off Cowboy And Stares Him Down Afterwards

Sometimes a horse just does not want to be ridden. The horse in this video told the guy riding him in no uncertain terms that today would not be a day for riding. Of course, it doesn’t help that every guy in the video looks like a villain from a Western. We do realize that the area the men are riding through does appear quite dusty, but the bandanas over the face is just a classic villain look. Ah, Hollywood and classic Westerns have trained me too well. Maybe this horse is morally good and didn’t want to participate in any train heists.

You can tell from the start of the video that the horse is just not feeling it. Of the three, the bucking horse is the most agitated. The other two calmly stand still and wait for commands from their riders. The big brown horse on the left though is tossing his head and looks back at the rider a few times. Even before he starts bucking you can feel that something is going to happen. His rider does not appear to have any control over his horse. That said, I do love how the horse gives the guy a withering stare down.

Were this a rodeo this guy might a get a decent score. The horse doesn’t buck too high or all that creatively so his score would be low, maybe a 25? The guy though does manage to hold on for 8 seconds, technically 7 if you count that he isn’t really holding on at the 8 second mark. And he doesn’t mark the horse out on the first buck. Still, he held on when he wasn’t expecting a buck, so I’d give him a few extra points. How about solid 40? Which gives him a ride of 65. Not bad, but not great.
