NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

Today is the warmest day since December 4th, 140 days when we reached 61 degrees. 60s are also forecast on Tuesday with a slight chance of a few rain showers late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as a cold front moves through. Temperatures will be in the lower 50s on Wednesday behind the cold front that comes through. Three Rivers are under a flood warning, The Oconto River in Oconto,the Wolf River near Shiocton & the Little Wolf River near Royalton. Minor flooding is expected. Many other rivers are approaching flood stage. The Oconto River will reach its highest peak around Tuesday morning and then fall below flood stage on Thursday.Up to a foot of water surrounding structures in a campground in the city of Oconto is expected with this river. The Wolf River is going to crest by Saturday morning. It is going to reach flood stage tomorrow afternoon.Floodwaters will begin to surround homes and cover streets near the river in the Shiocton area, mainly homes along Island and Mill Streets.
