Quran and Ahadees are two fundamental sources of guidance in Islam.

*Quran:*
The Quran (also spelled Koran) is the holy book of Islam, considered the word of God as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is the central text of Islam, comprising 114 chapters (surahs) and over 6,000 verses (ayahs). The Quran is a guide for living a righteous life, containing teachings on faith, morality, law, and spirituality. Muslims believe it is the literal word of God, unchanged and preserved in its original form.

*Ahadees (Hadith):*
Ahadees, also known as Hadith, are the sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They are considered the second source of guidance in Islam, after the Quran. Ahadees provide insight into the Prophet's teachings, his interpretation of the Quran, and his example for living a virtuous life. They cover various aspects of faith, morality, law, and daily life, offering guidance on how to apply the principles of the Quran in everyday situations.

There are different types of Ahadees, including:

1. *Qudsi*: Divine sayings, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) but not part of the Quran.
2. *Marfu'*: Sayings or actions directly attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
3. *Mauquf*: Sayings or actions of the Prophet's companions, approved by him.
4. *Da'if*: Weak or less authentic Ahadees, still considered valuable for guidance.

Remember, understanding Quran and Ahadees requires knowledge of Arabic, context, and Islamic scholarship. Muslims often seek guidance from Islamic scholars and imams to ensure accurate interpretation and application of these sacred texts.
