Psychology of Revolution

A great book, with a lot of information and fresh analyses of the French Revolution and beautiful insights on mass psychology. Very non-PC. The author, a late-nineteenth-century French physician, does not care whom he insults and generalizes about ethnic groups in a way that would be impossible today. At the same time he is completely free of prejudice; in fact, he criticizes the French and related nations more sharply than any others (reminds me of Nietzsche's views on the Germans).
