Prudhoe Castle Explore 🇬🇧

On the south bank of the river tyne 5 miles west of Newcastle lies Prudhoe castle. A Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade I listed building.
The history of it goes back almost 1000 years, from a basic Motte & Bailey castle after the conquest of the Normans, to a 19th century house built inside the grounds where you could rent to live!
