According to Sikhs they saved India. "Sikhs" picked up arms to protect the Hindus, this is the bogus narrative spread in the western world. When the Muslim invaders were attacking India. Guru Nanak did nothing. He did not lift the sword. Nanak witnessed the events and did nothing. Hindu Kings /Queens fought tooth and nail for over 500 years against the invaders before the creation of Khalsa (Sikh armies 1600's). Nanak was busy being a liberal. He was visiting Mecca and remained a fence sitter, visiting mosques in his spare time. Nanak failed to realize, a Kafir remains a Kafir in Islam.
