The UN's top court, the International Court of Justice(ICJ), will hear Israel's response to a case brought bySouth Africa calling for Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah in the Gaza war.

The court is already considering a case brought bySouth Africa in January accusing Israel of committinggenocide against the Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel has rejected the claim as false and "grossly distorted".

Meanwhile, there has been further calls for Israel toallow more aid into Gaza by reopening the Rafah crossing.
