It is being reported that Marvel’s Hawkeye will be getting a second season during a time when Disney CEO Bob Iger said the company is going to focus more on quality over quantity.

Season one of Hawkeye had decent audience score on reviews sites like Rotten Tomatoes, but viewership data was disappointing for Disney. This was during a time before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, was failing with everything they’ve been releasing. These latest rumors suggest the show will have a significantly reduced budget compared to other Marvel shows to reflect the new direction Disney is taking the Marvel franchise.
