A big piece of my story is.. that I’m just a regular gal that one day decided to take small steps instead of huge leaps for the first time in my life. Growing up and struggling with my weight I pretty much had tried it all but one thing I never did was focus on true change. I’m quick to admit that for many years of my life a quick fix was THE only method I was willing to try. I wanted this weight off me quick and I was willing to torture myself through whatever it was that could do that for me. One time I successfully did just that and lost 50lbs in 40 days by extreme under eating (500 calories a DAY as a 17 year old girl that played multiple sports at that) Fast forward a year later and I had gained a total of 90lbs back (almost double the amount I had lost) making it the heaviest weight I’ve reached yet. After giving up and each year my weight on the scale only rising I decided to make myself a promise to go all in but this time in a healthy way. I fed my body high protein with lots of carbs still within my diet, I did exercises I actually enjoyed, I allowed myself balance and normalcy, lastly I changed my lifestyle to one I could be proud of and it not only flipped my world upside down but it lead me to losing 120lbs naturally.
