Megan Thee Stallion performs during the Hot Girl Summer Tour at Target Center on May 14, 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to the Star Tribune, there were three costume changes during the "high energy, sex-positive and bootylicious performance that delighted 15,000 fans.

Megan Thee Stallion kicked off the North American leg of her Hot Girl Summer Tour with a sold-out show at Target Center in Minneapolis Tuesday. It marks the 29-year-old rapper's first headlining concert tour. With 35 shows spanning from May 14 through July 27, 2024, the tour comes in support of her third studio album. Though the Boa singer initially announced her tour with 32 shows across North America and Europe, she added extra dates for Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston.

The 90-minute set kicked off with "Hiss," Megan's third No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The setlist also included new single "Boa" that samples Gwen Stefani's 2004 hit "What You Waiting For?" and "Cobra," both from Megan's upcoming third album. GloRilla returned later in the show to join Megan on "Wanna Be."

The Hot Girl Summer Tour has already sold out roughly half of its shows, and second dates have been added in several cities. That includes Houston, where Megan will perform June 14 and 15 at Toyota Center.

Last week, Megan dropped a gaming and anime-inspired music video for the song "Boa." Her character and the song's title are a reference to Boa Hancock, known as the "Snake Princess," from the popular "One Piece" anime.
