From Dallas to Austin | Golf with my buddy before he moves back to New Mexico. 2024

A good buddy, prior coworker, and I had a night of a few drinks before he goes back home to New Mexico to be with family and build a life. He mentioned he had never been South of DFW, we both had never played golf South of DFW either, so we said F it let's go that next morning (Friday). I got up at 3 am, picked Ryan up at 3:30, filled the car up and left Grapevine, Texas at 4 am. Arrived in Austin at 7 am. We picked the first course that was close, Riverside Golf Course was it... and they were able to get us on at 7:30... They were great people! Good course.
Yeah, somebody already said there are better places, but they took care of us!!! If you have a recommendation for others, comment below, I'd love to come back to Austin to play.
I am so thankful for my friends/ coworkers, Bunn coming up with ideas and sponsoring some episodes and Ryan giving me his GoPro Hero 3+ , seriously great friends.
