New York Post | How feds plan to use Hunter Biden’s drug-filled memoir against him in weapons case. Prosecutors in the federal gun case against first son Hunter Biden want to turn his 2021 memoir “Beautiful Things” back on its author — by submitting excerpts into evidence in which the younger Biden describes “feeding the beast” of his drug addiction around the time he is accused of illegally purchasing a pistol.

President Biden’s 54-year-old son is slated to face trial beginning June 3 in Delaware on three charges tied to allegations he illegally purchased a firearm while addicted to crack cocaine on Oct. 12, 2018.

Prosecutors in special counsel David Weiss’ office argued Tuesday that they should be allowed to show the jury certain passages from “Beautiful Things” and play portions of the audiobook — narrated by Hunter Biden himself.
