Mom And Son Amazingly Sled Through A Chain Link Fence

Some videos are quick hitters. You see the inciting action almost right away. And it is good. The funny is right there and immediate. You find fast joy that leaves you smiling and laughing for a little while. Other videos, however, are builders. They are slow to start, but they are just laying the groundwork. Letting you have a peek at what is to come. Sometimes with the slow build you can guess and you prepare yourself for what you think is about to happen. Occasionally you are correct, occasionally you are completely surprised.

This video is a slow build video. It is a sledding video. And with America’s Funniest Home Videos, anytime you see a sledding video you know what is coming. Someone is going to wipeout into something or take out an innocent bystander or get taken out themselves. However, we think this one will surprise you. There is a wipeout of sorts, but it is actually more astounding of how the mom and her son get to where they end up. They start out on a hill with a chain link fence as kind of safety net.

I mean, initial thoughts for us are they maybe they should not have used the chain link fence as their net. Seems to me that there were better places to sled. Yes, the sled and such are at the peak of the hill, which is always a good place to start. You just have to consider where you are going to land. It is almost like jumping out of a plane, you probably want a good landing zone. Still, it does appear as though this mom and son just disappeared through the fence, even though we know they didn’t. It’s magical in a way.
