One of the best records ever made. Satyr from Satyricon, Fenriz from Darkthrone and norwegian singer Kari Rueslåtten got together to make this. If only they made more music together...

--Mellom bakkar og berg - Between hills and mountains--
Between hills and rocks out to the sea / High the Norwegian made his home
Where he himself digs the site / And put their own houses on top of them
He looked out at the barren sea / There was nothing out there
Let us cut and build us hamlets / And own the coast safely
He looked out at the barren sea / There was nothing out there
But there were fish playing in the cave / And that game he wanted to see
The Norwegian Hills! / The Norwegian Hills! / The Norwegian Hills! / Hey!
Until the winter, he sometimes thought / Wish I was here forever
And when the northern lights shine from above
Will his steel heart be filled with cruel longing!
Forward!

--Haavard Hedde--
My name is Håvard Hedde / And I am such a man
Now I want to go away and get married / And clear a yard for me
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / I didn't betray her
My name is Håvard Hedde / And live under mountain
Now I want to go away and get married / But I can't travel far
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / I didn't betray her
Yes, the garden is small / But the forest, it's good
There I raised two furrows / And they should stand still
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / I didn't betray her
When christians born they become many / And the debt is increasing
Then I cut one furrow down / And I make my stand
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / I didn't betray her
But when we become old / And every man shall have his
So I will cut down the other / And then the forest is gone
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / I didn't betray her
There was no wonder now / That Håvard hurt
He traveled from Lanjei / On the dark autumn night
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / I didn't betray her
He traveled from Lanjei / And then the girl was found
But she was with another / He said most slowly
I live under a mountain / And the girl, I promise / Yes she betrayed me yet

--Oppi Fjellet - Up in the mountains--
I heard the wind calling me / Up the mountain, up the mountain/
It took me away from the crowd / Up the mountain, up the mountain
And if you haven't heard it before / I will stay in Norway until I die / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Here in our kingdom, here is our need / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Around lots of forests we make our way / Up the mountain, up the mountain
And is there anyone who doesn't see / Why do we always pray to Mother Norway / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Yes, rock and gray stone, we eat that / Up the mountain, up the mountain
We are disgusted by the blue men, we go to our den / Up the mountain, up the mountain
And fresh the river it is for us / If you want it, you have to fight
Up the mountain, up the mountain / Up the mountain, up the mountain
A cruel death awaits every man / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Who do not pay tribute to our fatherland / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Yes, we are Norwegian and proud of it / The Christians will not see / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Now we have said what we wanted to say / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Two Norwegian brothers who will give anything / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Forest trolls warn a cruel death / Where the Fenris wolf howled the same sound
Up the mountain, up the mountain / Up the mountain, up the mountain
Hey! / Can you see him? / Can you see him? / Look at the Christian meat!
Shut him up! / Shut him up!
And if you ever smell a Christian's blood, up in the mountains.
Yes, get the axe
And...
Cut them down!'

--Lokke - Calling--
I know a place up inbetween the hills / Where the gulls cry and the trees cast shadows
I know a boy, the kindest of them all / Eyes shining in the darkness, "Do you want to see the town?"
I wait till the day is over before I travel towards the town
Sitting down on the stone, I wonder if he comes? / I grow so warm, feeling how the heart beats
Come, come here to me, take me in your embrace
