Storm Shield Forecast morning update 4/19/18

A storm pushing onshore over Kern County this morning will bring some scattered showers, but most of it is evaporating. It's cold enough in the mountains early this morning to see some flurries down to pass level but this quick-hitter won't bring us accumulating snow. Temperatures will be much cooler today as a result of this system, with a high of 67 in Bakersfield, 55 in Lake Isabella, 48 in Tehachapi and Frazier Park and the windy 60s in the desert.
