Little girl learns to train her giant Newfoundland dog

Sierra’s large Newfoundland dog is helping her grow up with strength and compassion. While Samson outweighs her by 100 pounds, she stands her ground in their play sessions. It is amazing to watch the nonverbal communication between these two who clearly love and respect each other and are both looking to enjoy their time together. They naturally learn each other’s language. While they still have adorable inter-species fights, they always end up snuggling at the end of the day. Here we see how Sierra is teaching Samson to find items through play and obedience. Amazing for such a young child to have understanding and control of such a large and boisterous dog!
