Israeli attacks on northern Gaza: Air strikes pound Jabalia refugee camp

Israeli forces have launched a new offensive in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, after levelling it during its previous assault. Residential areas and shelters for displaced people are believed to have been targeted. Several people have been killed.

Israel had issued evacuation orders in the north including Jabalia and Beit Lahiya. But the already-displaced people have nowhere to go, in an area where the UN says there's a full-blown famine.
